Kalkattawi, and is now considered one of the leading Landscape and Irrigation Contractors serving the Saudi Arabia market, specifically its East-Province region. Built from ground up, Najeib started his JAN venture from the garage of his home, where he experimented with plants. Today, JAN with it’s team of highly skilled Management, professionals and skilled workers, are dedicated to provide one of the best quality landscaping and irrigation services. This drive was set in stone by its late founder Najeib, who was always driven by a thirst for knowledge, education and to create something different by breaking traditions. He started his independence at a young age where he worked in different jobs gaining a diverse set of skills. He first obtained his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Accounting and Finance in Egypt. It was a commendable milestone achieved being one of the first batch of 40 accountants to graduate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1967. Later he earned his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Whittier College in California in 1980. During this period of study he held positions within large corporations such as Getty Oil Company and Ar-Razi Saudi Methanol Co (SABIC) where he led and introduced the SAP system implementation for the first time in the Kingdom. However, motivated by his drive to do more, and inspired by his brother, an Agricultural Engineer himself, he developed an interest in plants and nature, educating himself through extensive reading and experimentation.
